Dear Friends and Neighbors,

In recognition of Women’s History Month last month, I am proud to honor the Women of the Year for Senate District 14.

Dear Neighbor,

March is Women’s History Month, and we are excited to celebrate the incredible women who shape and inspire our community.

Dear Neighbor,

Are you or someone you know in need of help with college? Don’t miss this opportunity to attend the Cash4College Workshop at Merced College, designed to help students and families with financial aid and college planning. Whether you’re a high school senior, a parent, or a current student, this event is a great opportunity to get the guidance you need for the next step in your educational journey.

Hello Neighbor,

Happy New Year! I trust that you had a restful holiday spent with family and friends. The legislature begins a new session in 2025 and I expect that, as anything else in life, will have both challenges and rewards. This session includes the largest class of women legislators in the state’s history, where a historic 49% of the members are women. We are closer than ever to achieving gender parity, a testament to the hard work of the Legislative Women’s Caucus at the local level. Wow, so exciting!

Hello Neighbor,

Juan and I wish you a wonderful holiday with family and friends. It is an honor and privilege to represent you in the California State Senate. Please feel free to contact my office if you need any assistance.

Here is a link to the services my office provides.

*Please note: In observance of the holiday, my office will be closed Monday, December 23 through Wednesday, December 25. We will reopen on Thursday, December 26 at 9:00 AM.

Sincerely,

Hello Neighbor,

During this season, I like to reflect on and offer gratitude for my friends, family and blessings. As we gather to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to thank and acknowledge the hardworking men and women in our community. From the farmer and farmworker who ensure that, we have food on our tables, to the educators, nurses, social workers, first responders and more—we appreciate your care and service. Thank you!

I hope that each of you will also take a moment to consider the good and search for ways to spread some joy.
