2020 CENSUS - BE COUNTED!

Hello Friends and Families in SD 12:

Your Immediate Participation is Needed in the 2020 Census!

In an effort to disenfranchise historically underrepresented communities, Federal officials have moved up the last day of the Census count from October 31 to September 30! That is a full month less to have our communities counted.

Your participation in the 2020 Census is more critical than ever to ensure your community receives the funding and representation you deserve for the next 10 years.

Funding for schools, roads, social services, health care and so much more depends on your voice being heard in the 2020 Census.

Go to https://my2020census.gov/ to fill out your Census survey online today.

You can also call any of these three numbers to complete your census over the phone. They are available in 15 languages!

Your participation matters, regardless of immigration status, or age -EVERYONE counts. When you participate, rest assured that your information is kept private and cannot be shared with any federal agency outside of the U.S. Census Bureau.

Please remember to fill out a survey for every member of your house, even your children – don’t forget newborns too!

If you receive a visit from a U.S. Census Bureau worker, know that they may ask information of fellow neighbors that haven’t responded. And will never ask for donations, social security number, political affiliation and any other compromising information.
