Hello Neighbor,

I would like to invite high school students in Senate District 12 to participate in the 2021 Young Legislators Program hosted by my office. The 2021 Young Legislators Program provides an introduction to local, state and federal government to build a strong foundation for our teens who want to get involved in the leadership of their community.

This interactive program will take place virtually on zoom from 1 pm - 3 pm every Thursday from June 24 - July 8 with the final session on Wednesday, July 14.  Students will also have the opportunity to go on a tour of the California State Capitol in Sacramento once health guidelines permit.

Please find flyers for the program, which include a link to the application.  The deadline to apply is Friday, June 18, 2021 at 3 pm at Senator Caballero’s 2021 Young Legislators Program.  We realize this is a quicker application turnaround time than in previous years, but we greatly appreciate your assistance with outreach by posting the flyers around your school campus, website/social media platforms, and emailing/calling students and parents.
