Do you, or someone you know—need help paying for college? Whether you’re a student, parent, or helping a family member plan, completing the FAFSA or the Dream Act application is one of the most important steps to accessing financial aid.
To help make this process easier, I’m pleased to share information about upcoming Countywide (Merced) Evening Cash for College Workshops happening this February.

- UC Merced — Thursday, February 26, 2026
What to Expect
- Free parking and refreshments
- Bring your electronic device (laptop, tablet, or cellphone)

Representatives from colleges and universities available to answer questions
These workshops – hosted by the California Student Aid Commission – are an excellent opportunity for students and families to receive individualized support and better understand their financial aid options.
