PG&E has announced a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) in Stanislaus County in response to high wind speeds in the area. The shutoff will begin at 12:00 PM on October 9, 2019. After strong winds have passed, PG&E will inspect power lines and restore electricity when deemed safe.

The shutoff is expected to affect about 1000 residents. The areas affected in District 12 include:
• Westley
• Grayson
• Patterson
• La Grange
• Parts of Modesto
