Sen. Caballero’s Holiday Newsletter

A Note from Anna

Hello Neighbor,

December is a magical time of year. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, the Solstice, all of the above or nothing at all—it is my sincere hope that you slow down, are in fellowship with family and friends and reflect on the accomplishments of this year. There is much to be thankful for even if there is adversity and challenges.

As 2023 ends, I want to wish you peace, health and happiness in the New Year. I will be spending time with family and grandkids and feel energized and ready to return to the Capitol in January to continue my work on behalf of everyone in Senate District 14 and across the state of California.

Happy Holidays!

Senator Anna Caballero
State Senator, 14th Senate District

Through the advocacy of the youth in Santa Nella, I learned that residents had no park to enjoy with friends and family. I met with community members several times via zoom and it was clear that this was a big need. The money that I was able to secure this year for Santa Nella is a celebration of the activism of youth, who took action. I am proud of them and happy to be able to work in partnership with them on this long awaited park.

$310,000 to assist in the construction of the first and only park for residents.

The City of Livingston received $1 Million to support the construction of a new centralized water treatment plant and storage tank for the city.

Thank you to the Mayor, the Livingston City Council and City Manager for advocating for resources to help fund a much-needed project to improve services for residents.

They communicated with me and I was able to secure funding through the budget process. A great example of what we can accomplish when we all work together!
