At the conclusion of this year’s legislative cycle, Senator Anna M. Caballero (D-Merced) announced today the success of her 2023-2024 Legislative Bill Package now headed to the Governor’s desk for his signature.

Senator Anna M. Caballero will recognize Jose Eduardo Rodriguez Vargas, Senate District 14 2023 Latino Caucus Scholarship award recipient.

Earlier this year, Senator Anna M. Caballero (D-Merced), Speaker Robert Rivas (D-Salinas) and Assemblywoman Esmeralda Soria (D-Merced) announced the passage of The Distressed Hospital Loan Program (SB/AB 112). The loan program was authored in response to the imminent closure of dozens of hospitals across the state.

Senator Caballero is excited to share that the Central Valley will benefit from two of the four Direct Capture Hub Awards issued to California from the U.S Department of Energy.
